Celebrating 40 Years at Badger Design | Thank You Andrew

On 3rd February 2026, we celebrated a truly special milestone – Andrew has now been with Badger Design for 40 years. That’s four decades of skill, dedication and steady craftsmanship and we’re so pleased to mark the occasion with a proper thank you.

Andrew is our Senior Platen Operator, and we’d argue quite possibly the most knowledgeable person in the South-West when it comes to those machines. He’s been running them since the early days, fine-tuning jobs, solving problems and keeping production running smoothly behind the scenes.

We estimate that Andrew has personally cut well over 500 million magnets during his time here – which is both slightly mind-blowing and a real testament to his consistency and pace. He’s the person the team turns to for advice, support or just a bit of know-how when something’s being awkward. His experience has helped shape how we work today, and the standard he sets is one we all look up to.
