10 Years at Badger Design – A Big Thank You To Alan!

At Badger Design, we believe that great people are at the heart of everything we do—and this year, we’re thrilled to be celebrating one of our own. Alan, a cornerstone of our production team, is marking an incredible 10 years with us!

Alan joined Badger Design a decade ago, bringing with him not only a calm and focused approach but a cheeky grin that quickly made him an essential part of the team. Over the years, he has become our go-to expert for dye sublimation, carefully operating the machinery that helps bring our designs to life.

If you’ve ever ordered one of our ceramic or hardwood coasters, chances are it’s been handled by Alan at some point during the production process. More recently, he’s been instrumental in the production of our ceramic ornaments – our newest addition to this material’s product range. His eye for detail and unwavering commitment to quality means every product that leaves our workshop does so with the care and precision our customers have come to expect.

Alan is a very talented artist himself, specilising in British military history due to vivid colours of the landscapes. You can view his work via his website which is linked here. In an industry where precision matters, Alan’s steady hand, creativity and thoughtful approach have helped us maintain the high standards we pride ourselves on.

Milestones like this offer a chance not just to look back, but to show genuine appreciation. Alan’s decade of service is a testament to what’s possible when experience, dedication, and care come together. In fact, we make a real effort to create a workplace where people feel valued. That’s why our staff tend to stick around. We know how important it is to hold on to good people, and our high retention rate is something we are very proud of, and rightly so.
