August Promotional Opportunities

This blog focuses on August as we continue with our seasonal holidays and events that could be of use to your promotional marketing campaigns. Remember these are just ideas for inspiration so if you want to discuss more promotional options be sure to give Badger Design a call on 01392 662 100. Our team has decades of experience in the promotional marketing industry so why not see what they have to say.

Traditionally this is the month that the UK has its best chance of summer weather. This has resulted in a month full of festivals which in itself provides lots of promotional marketing opportunities, especially if you’re a local business.

Edinburgh will host 2 major festivals in August. The Fringe Festival is the largest Arts festival in the world and the International Festival will see classical music, theatre, opera and dance take centre stage at 6 major theatres and concert halls as well as numerous smaller venues over a 3 week period. By placing your brand above a magnetic notepad, memo holder or clip you could inform local residents of all the upcoming events while also associating yourself with the energy and enthusiasm behind the festivals.

The Glenn Miller Festival at RAF Twinwood will offer similar marketing and promotional opportunities to local residents as well as jazz, swing and jive enthusiasts across the country. Incorporate your branding into a supportive car sticker that shows the owners support or participation of the event is bound to produce a lot of exposure for your business.

Notting Hill Carnival and The Reading festival are also opportunities for you to increase your brands equity simply by offering free promotional items on the day to visitors or businesses attending the event. Supplying the onsite event caterers or local cafés & pubs with your own free promotional coasters and beermats is just one way you could go about doing this.

If you’ve run out of time for this year give Badger Design a call on 01392 662 100 to discuss next year’s possibilities.
